I've unzipped a module and clicked the launch.html page, but the module content does not display

Enabling pop-up blockers

Some security software (e.g. pop-up blockers) may prevent the programme running because they open in a separate browser window. Pop-up blockers (like those used in Win XP SP2) should be disabled before running the course. To do this:

  • Click 'Tools' on your browser toolbar
  • Click 'Internet Options.'
  • Click the 'Security' tab
  • Ensure the 'Internet' icon is selected
  • Click 'Custom Level.'
  • Scroll down to 'Miscellaneous'
  • Under 'Allow script-initiated windows without size or position constraints' select the 'Enable' radio button

I've followed the Action Planner instructions but the Action Planner does not open

The Action planner does not work when using IE 6 or 7 with XP SP2. If you are accessing the modules with this Operating System and Service Pack, you will need to open MS Word and enter any notes manually.

Note: you can confirm what Operating System you are running by:

  • Click 'Start' on your Start bar
  • Right mouse click 'My Computer'
  • Click 'Properties'
  • Click the 'General' tab (usually the default selection) in the Systems Property pop up
